  • As of May 2009, the event website ranked in the top 10 Google search listings for a variety of queries such as blog poverty, poverty blog, blog day, 2008 poverty, etc.
  • As of May 2009, the Blog Action Day Twitter account had 2,500-plus Twitter followers (better than 99.5% of all Twitter accounts)
